Rapture Timeline

About

About Rapture Timeline

Two things in one place: a careful reference, and a question.

The reference

Rapture Timeline documents historical predictions of the Rapture, the Second Coming and the end of the world. For each one it records who made the prediction, when, what they argued, which Scripture and calculations they used, what happened when the date passed, and what the author or movement said afterward.

Entries are written in neutral language. Many of the people in this record were sincere, and several publicly acknowledged their mistakes. The aim is to inform, not to mock.

The question

Beside the reference is a private reflection tool. It starts from one verse, Matthew 24:36: no one knows the day or the hour. If that is true, then the unknown date is not a reason to postpone a change you already know you need to make.

The reflection page lets you choose one thing, write it down, and keep it on your own device. It is not connected to any server.

What this site does not do

  • It does not predict the Rapture or any date for it.
  • It does not claim divine revelation or special insight.
  • It does not use fake countdowns, fake testimonials or invented statistics.
  • It does not ask for money or for personal religious information.

Read the methodology for how entries are researched, and the disclaimer for the full statement of position.
